Please note that if you hold a job without applying for a work permit, you may be fined between NT$30,000 to NT$150,000!<\/span><\/p><\/div><hr class=\"x-line e955-14 mqj-6\"><\/hr><hr class=\"x-line e955-15 mqj-6\"><\/hr><div class=\"x-text e955-16 mqj-7\"><h4><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Application Procedure<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span>(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Students may pick up Consent Form for Work Permit Application at OISS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Have the Consent form stamped by the student\u2019s department, then submit it to OISS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare PDF files of your photo IDs (student ID card, passport and ARC).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Complete the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"ext\" href=\"http:\/\/ezwp.wda.gov.tw\/\">online application<\/a><\/p><\/div><hr class=\"x-line e955-17 mqj-6\"><\/hr><hr class=\"x-line e955-18 mqj-6\"><\/hr><div class=\"x-text e955-19 mqj-7\"><h4><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Payment of NTD 100 application fee<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span>(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pay\u00a0at the post office<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Applicants may pay the application fee at the post office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Account Name: Special Account for Employment Approval of Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor; Account Number: 19058848<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pay by ATM transfer of funds<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Complete the online application first<\/strong>, make sure you\u2019ve filled in all the information and uploaded PDF files. As long as your application has been submitted to school for examination, the system will issue you a specific account number (16 digits) for the ATM payment (<strong>Please select \u2018Bill Payment\u2019 function; not the \u2018Fund Transfer\u2019 function<\/strong>). Keep the receipt for future reference.<\/span><\/p><\/div><hr class=\"x-line e955-20 mqj-6\"><\/hr><hr class=\"x-line e955-21 mqj-6\"><\/hr><div class=\"x-text e955-22 mqj-7\"><div class=\"list\">\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Other Regulations<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ol class=\"list\">\n \t<li><span>The status of international students in Taiwan should be in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>According to \u201cRegulations on the Permission and Administration of the Employment of Foreign Workers\u201d, applicants can apply for a student work permit since the first semester. However, a transcript of one-year language course in Taiwan should be presented for language course learners.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>The maximum period validity of a student work permit is six months.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>For applications made in the first semester, the work permit is valid until March 31 of the following semester; for applications made in the second semester, the work permit is valid until September 30 of the same year.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>The maximum work hours are 20 hours per week, except during summer and winter breaks.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>Workforce Development Agency has the right to revoke the permit if an applicant does not follow the regulations.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>According to Employment Services Act, foreigners who work without a work permit will be fined from NT 30,000 to NT150, 000.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><span>Students should return the work permit (if still valid) to the Office of International Student Service if they withdraw or take leave from school.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span><strong>4.
