LEGAL RESIDENCE

Students must bring Ming Chuan University’s Admission Letter to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy, Consulate or Mission in your country to apply for a VISA with the purpose of pursuing study in Ming Chuan University. Foreign passport holders who enter Taiwan (R.O.C) on visa-exemption or landing visas are not allowed to study in Taiwan.

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF VISA, VISITOR VISA and RESIDENT VISA. 

ARC: As regulated by the Immigration Office, you are required to apply for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) as your identification card to use in Taiwan.
